Section: SECTION C – DURING THE GAME
If a player receives an injury where blood is observed by the referee, a medical time-out will be called. The player will be removed from the court and may not return to the court until bleeding has stopped, the wound is covered, and if necessary, the uniform changed. If the bleeding has not stopped, the wound is not covered and the uniform hasn’t been changed within the medical time out period, a medical substitution is required.
