Section: SECTION C – DURING THE GAME
No more than one person from the team bench area is allowed to enter the court during a medical time-out unless the referee grants permission to other individuals to enter the court. Everyone who enters the court on a medical time-out must be in their team bench area by the end of the medical time-out. A 15 second signal will be provided. If more than one person from the team bench area enters the court without the referee’s permission or any other person who entered the court is not in their team bench area by the end of the medical time- out, a team delay of game penalty will be assessed. If more than one person from the team bench area enters the court without the referees’ request, a team delay of game penalty is given immediately and the team is not allowed to use the whole 45 seconds of the medical time-out.
