31 Ten Seconds - 31.3 When a defensive contact is followed by a whistle and a “blocked out” call

Section: SECTION F - TEAM PENALTIES

When a defensive contact is followed by a whistle and a “blocked out” call, the 10 second clock will be stopped. After returning the ball to the court the referee will call “quiet please”, blow the whistle and call ”play”. The 10 second clock will restart from the call ”play”.
