If a time out, substitution or blocked-out occurs after defensive contact is made, and the team has the ball under control (in a player’s physical possession or the ball is clearly being passed between players) the 10 seconds clock will be stopped/paused on the referee’s whistle and be restarted when the referee calls “play”. The team will have the remaining time left on the clock to ensure the ball crosses the court centre line or side-line.
