Section: SECTION C – DURING THE GAME
A time-out may be indicated to the referee by any member of the team, using the “time-out” hand signal (see Appendix 1) and / or by saying “time-out”. Any member of the team can ask for the time-out by hand signal before their team has control of the ball but must wait for the ball to be controlled before requesting the time-out verbally. Failure to comply will result in a team penalty – Illegal coaching.
