Section: SECTION C – DURING THE GAME
A substitution may be indicated to the referee by any member of the team, using the “substitution” hand signal (See Appendix 1) and / or by saying “substitution”. Any member of the team can ask for the substitution by hand signal before their team has control of the ball but must wait for the ball to be controlled before requesting the substitution verbally. Failure to comply will result in a Team Penalty – Illegal Coaching.
